I'm really excited about this new Anal Training set I found! And I want to tell you all about it. First, let's get specific about what's meant by 'Anal Training'.
What is Anal Training?
The term is usually used by someone intending on doing solo play with the goal of receiving anal penetration. The most common recommended method of Anal Training is a set of graduated butt plugs. Usually this is the advice given whenever receivers ask about the best way to do Anal Training. I disagree.
Why Plugs Are Ineffective
Butt plugs certainly help to stretch your anal sphincter for a moment while you are inserting them. Once in, your sphincter closes around the neck of the plug, which is usually significantly smaller than the widest part of the plug. This is what keeps plugs from falling out. So, for that brief period when you are inserting the plug, sure, you are 'training' your ass to take larger toys. But I don't believe this is the most effective way to accomplish your goal.
Cones Can Work
Cones can be quite efficient at training your ass to take larger toys, if you take the time. When using a cone, please be very careful how you use it. Make sure that if you lower yourself down on the cone, your leg or arm muscles can handle the task. If you slip or your muscles wear out and you sink down too fast, an injury can easily result.
You can put the cone against the wall, lay on your back and scoot onto it, your legs up in the air. You can also back up to it on your hands and knees. Or the cone can be secured by a harness like this and attached to a wide variety of items like a chair, pole, pillow (or even a tree, if you're a fan of the great outdoors). I have been recommending cones for anal aficionados wanting to take bigger toys as the best option for some time. Until now.
The Magic of Silolis

Equally important, in my opinion, the necks of the plugs increase in size, too. So yes, your progress is indeed saved. This is a brilliantly designed Anal Training system. The increase in diameter is approximately .25" with each pair. I have advised for years that .25" is the kindest girth increase when upgrading to larger toys.
Silolis offers 3 overlapping sets to choose from that range in diameter from 1.11" to 2.1", as well as a couple of larger individual wand and plug pairs that top out at 2.5". (Beyond that, Hankey's new Traffic Cones are your best bet.) So whether you are an anal beginner or are looking to widen your ultimate ass horizons, there's something for you. You can buy them in individual sets of wand and plug as well. I have to say - the prices are very reasonable!
Here's a review by the mod of reddit/straightpegging. I like his suggestion of using these in the shower. That makes any mess a non-issue and eliminates the need for cleaning out when training. I suspect it makes showering a bit more fun, too! (A good lube that is excellent for shower use is Butters Palm Grease. Made from all natural ingredients and doesn't wash off with water but cleans up easily with soap.)
