Wow, as someone who has lived through all this it (and dealt with it), this spoke to me loud and clear. It explains soooo much, it helps bring new stuff to the surface and it will likely be a lifetime sorting through it all. Thanks for all the links too. If we ever make it back to Denver, I’ll be sure to check out Alejandro’s work. We’re always looking to work with those making a difference in communities.
Thanks again,
Bil
Glad you found this useful. It was a labor of love, and learning, to put it all together.❤
In my first letter after becoming a patron I shared how important music was/is in my life. I jokingly tell my partner that I live vicariously through song lyrics. I bought this album when it came out in the early 80’s because of a song I’d heard on the radio. This was the real gem on that album and it really bowled me over. So much of my existence up to that point was perfectly summed up in Joe’s lyrics. Something jogged my memory recently and I’m hearing this again for the first time. I hope you don’t mind me posting the link.
