You are shattering my illusion that you readers of elegant erotica, articulate porn, literate smut...that you are also readers of the classics, the big guns of literature.

The offer still stands - find the quote from Thoreau that I butchered in my blog post entitled  "No, He's Not Gay" and you win a free year's membership to my stories.

I would love for a pegging enthusiast (or a hopeful pegging enthusiast) to win this....

Hint: The original quote is from Thoreau's "Walden" and I mis-quoted it in the paragraph entitled "Pegger/Peggee".

  1. I just received this from a reader…
    “Ms. Ruby-

Not out of a particular desire to gain a year’s membership to your site (though it is a lovely carrot at the end of your strap-on), but more as a curiosity and a brain teaser, I believe that I can reference the Thoreau quote.

    When you say,

“So the masses of people living quiet lives of desperation (read: sex negative) wouldn’t have a clue what it meant.”

I think you were referring to:

“Most men lead lives of quiet desperation and go to the grave with the song still in them.”

If I’m totally off, at least I gave it a shot.”

    Good enough, dear Reader!

The exact quote Thoreau wrote was:
“The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation. What is called resignation is confirmed desperation.”

What you wrote is a mis-quote that has been circulated so widely it is usually attributed to him.

    Well done, Sir!
Enjoy the stories. I hope they make you hard…all year long!
